Backlight Control is a Control Panel which when installed, monitors the mouse activity, the keyboard activity and the charger status of your PowerBook. When the mouse has been idle for a certain amount of time (user specified) and you are working from the battery the backlight is turned off. As soon as you move the mouse, click the mouse, start typing or you plug in your power adapter the backlight is set back on.
The Control Panel interface allows you to:
1) Turn on/off the Backlight feature
2) Select the idle timeout.
3) Check for a power adapter or not
4) Monitor the keyboard or not
The original idea is by Owen Rubin.
Backlight Control should work on any PowerBook with backlighting.
